STEP 1 - MICRODERMABRASION
Crystal free microdermabrasion which gently exfoliates the skin, removing dead skin cells. The strength of the microdermabrasion can be adjusted to suit your skin type. This skin exfoliation process reveals the new, living skin cells that are soft, smooth and receptive to nutrients.

STEP 2 - GENTLE MICRONEEDLING
A precision-controlled microneele hand piece, containing the infusion serum, rolls across the skin under vacuum. The vacuum pulls the skin into contact with the microneedles that gently penetrate through the different layers of the skin. The vacuum places the skin under tension so the needles can penetrate evenly and maximise the delivery of the active infusion serum.

FAQS
HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED TO SEE RESULTS?
Results may be visible after just one treatment. Optimum results are achieved through a course of 6 treatments, spaced 2-4 weeks apart. Significant results should be seen in 4 to 5 weeks. The treatment takes approximately 45 minutes, there are no side effects and no recovery time is required. Mild redness may occur for up to a few hours post treatment depending on your skin type and intensity of the treatment.

IS THE TREATMENT PAINFUL?
The microdermabrasion process will usually feel slightly abrasive on the skin, however most patients are quite surprised the skin needling process is almost pain free! The skin may just feel slightly sensitive and dry for 1-2 days post treatment.

WHAT'S THE DOWNTIME LIKE?
With almost no downtime, the DermaFrac is a treatment which allows you to return to your normal daily activities immediately. After treatment it is usual to experience mild-moderate redness and a tingling/warm sensation. This will subside within a day or so. There is also the potential for very mild bruising or scabbing, which often settles within 3- 7 days. It is important to note that those who suffer occasional breakouts may experience a slight temporary flare in acne post treatment.
CAN I COMBINE DERMAFRAC TREATMENTS WITH MY OTHER COSMETIC PROCEDURES?
Yes, this treatment is a versatile, results driven facial that may be combined with skin peels or other more advanced procedures. DermaFrac is an ideal treatment for maintaining skin health and keeping your skin looking fresh and rejuvenated.
WHAT POST TREATMENT CARE SHOULD I USE?
It is advisable to use effective skincare products at home to enhance your in-clinic treatment. Ask your skin therapist for the best advice to suit your skin.
ARE THERE ANY CONTRAINDICATIONS TO THE TREATMENT?
We do not recommend DermaFrac treatments for those with severe acne, broken or inflamed skin; and those with Epilepsy.
