OUR POLICIES

Please ensure you have read and understood our policies before completing your booking.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to your appointment to allow us to fill the gap. Failure to give 24 hours notice results in 50% of the treatment cost to be charged, which will need to be paid before we accept another booking.

LATE POLICY

If you are going to be late, please contact us.  Should you be more than 15 minutes late to your appointment, we may be required to reschedule your appointment.

RESCHEDULING POLICY

If you need to reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you give a minimum 24 hours' notice prior to your appointment slot. If you are unable to provide 24 hours’ notice a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost will be charged.

CHILDREN & PETS POLICY

Due to health and safety risks, unfortunately we are unable to allow clients to bring babies, young children and/or pets to their appointments. Please make other arrangements for your children on appointment days. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment and charge you for the full booking should you arrive with a child/minor. Skin by Catherine Maria will not be held accountable for inquiry or accidents to, or caused by unsupervised children.

PHONES

Please remember to switch your phone on silent/vibrate prior to having your treatment.

PERSONAL PROPERTY

We cannot be held responsible for any personal property you bring to the studio  Please leave your valuables at home or ensure they are kept with you throughout the treatment.

GENERAL PROMOTIONS & OFFERS

Special offers and any other promotions can only be used independently and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer, unless stated otherwise. Each promotion/offer can only be used once and exclusive to one person.

GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Gift vouchers can be used as full or part payment for any service (cannot be used for any discounted/model treatments).

  • Gift vouchers cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.

  • The full value of the card must be used prior to its expiry date.

  • All gift vouchers are valid for 12 months.

  • Please keep your gift voucher to hand.

  • We reserve the right to alter, remove or increase the price on any treatments.

  • Skin by Catherine Maria is not liable for redeemed gift cards if they have been stolen. Gift cards will not be replaced if lost or stolen without the purchaser's confirmation email as proof of purchase.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

  • SERVICES - We do not offer refunds on services that have been received. If you would like to report an issue, please contact info@skinbycatherinemaria.com as soon as possible.
     

  • PRODUCTS - We will refund any product returned within 14 days of purchase as long as it is unopened and unused. You must be able to show your receipt of purchase.  A refund will be given by the same method of original payment. If the product is faulty, please contact info@skinbycatherinemaria.com as soon as possible. Prices are subject to change at any time. We are unable to offer refunds, exchanges or store credit on open or used products.
     

  • COURSE OF TREATMENTS - We do not offer refunds on course of treatments.

MEDICAL CONDITIONS

Please advise us at time of booking of any health conditions, allergies, injuries, recent surgeries, pregnancy or special needs which may affect your services. Some treatments are not recommended for clients who have certain conditions.

SYMPTOMS OF ILLNESS

If you feel you are having symptoms of (or visibly having) a cold sore outbreak please reschedule your appointment 24 hours in advance. We will not do treatments with cold sores present. For your protection and ours we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

ADVANCED TREATMENTS

Please note that individuals who have received Botox or Dermal fillers (any injectables), chemical peels, microneedling, microblading, permanent makeup/tattoo, cosmetic treatments with laser or ultrasound, must wait at least 2 weeks before any facial treatment can be performed.

 

Individuals prescribed Accutane (Isotretinoin) must wait 6-12 months after completion of the prescription before any facial treatment can be performed.

​

MINORS

We will not perform any treatments on anyone under the age of 18. At this time, we would recommend having a professional product routine to use at home. 

​

SANITATION

Following each service, the treatment room is thoroughly cleaned. Equipment and implements are cleansed and sterilized with disinfectants, or are made to be disposable.

​

ADDING ADDITIONAL SERVICES DURING THE APPOINTMENT

Each service we provide, requires a specific amount of time. When booking in for services, please ensure you advise if you wish to have any additional treatments added to your appointment. We would hate to disappoint you on the day if you are wanting additional services. If you have booked in for a few services and are no longer requiring all services, please let us know prior to your appointment so we can adjust the service time required.

COMPLAINT POLICY

Our priority is for you to be completely satisfied with the service you receive from us. We run a professional business so we aim to deliver the highest standards in everything we do. Complaints are rare but we take them very seriously, so we have a complaints policy and process, which we follow to make sure that things are put right where needed and we can learn from your feedback.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

CHANGES TO OUR POLICIES

Skin by Catherine Maria have the right to make changes to these policies. We recommend that you check these policies regularly.

OUR RIGHTS

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. We constantly thrive to provide quality treatments with outstanding service, but to do so, we must also stay relevant and up to date within our industry. This means that when our suppliers is increased, we must also make necessary increases where needed. Some services might change or all. 

 

We also reserve the right to remove or make changes to our treatment list as needed.
